In each term in , we are given a research week.
Whether we research how our Dyson works, the effect of alcohol on the body or the effects of Jeremy Kyle's Voice is one thing, but we are supposed to complete tasks given to us by lecturers. Which is fair enough.
So I finished my cleaning and sat on my lovely new bed and read what we had been given for Sian Sanders' task in 'Theories of Thinking and Learning'. I just could not get my head round it. I shall leave that for breakfast, i thought. It was 11pm.
So, I found the Google Chrome Web Store and came across a program called 'Pulsate'.
It is sort of a "make-your-own-ambient-music" thingymabob. I love it. I urge anyone to open it, click the black screen for a few bubbles and return to studying. The bubbles move or 'pulsate' back and forth, until they bump into each other and create a note/tone/pretty noise. The more bubbles you click, the better. Click until you have the right sound, pop the kettle on, pick up that reading/book/assignment and go for it.
I finally understand what 'Emotional Intelligence' is.
